Cyprus is one of the greatest destinations for ERASMUS.

 

It offers a great variety of opportunities. First of all, it is the weather. During the winter season you can enjoy the snow at Troodos Mountains and even in the same day you can visit the sunny beaches in Ayia Napa. Generally, the weather is hot.

 

Because of the Cyprus’ location, a lot of invaders wanted to occupy Cyprus for a long period of time. Cyprus used to be 97% covered by trees, but because it is an island, people used most of them to create boats, weapons, houses etc.

 

Cyprus is an island full of history and archaeological monuments. In every corner, you can find historical discoveries. It worths mentioning that the whole island is full of museums and old fashioned houses.

 

The capital city of Cyprus is Nicosia. Nicosia is the center of Cyprus where you can easily access the other cities across the island. Amochostos, Paphos, Larnaca, Limasol are the other big cities of Cyprus.
