Transportation in Cyprus is very reliable. Because the island is small, you can use the buses to travel around and get anywhere you want. 

The farthest destination is Nicosia – Paphos, around 3 hours with bus. You can use intercity buses to travel from one city to another. Each city has its own buses services, different for each other and they cover the whole region. For even farthest destinations from each city, there are small buses to help you reach them.

Taxis are kind of expensive in Cyprus but if you need immediately to go from one place to another, in no time, a taxi will be waiting for you on the spot, anywhere you are and anytime you call.
