Friends Package Budget
Made some friends here and want to take some free time together to enjoy your weekend. No problem … since you are a huge company of three, four students it should be easier for you to spend a little bit more money. You will split the cost and enjoy some quality time together.
1. Choose the Destination
When you are planning a trip with friends, you can either use the Single Student Budget or you can rent a car and travel across island visiting at the same day multiple locations and cities. It is going to cost a little bit more but since you are going to be with friends it worth it.
2. Transport
Since you are traveling with friends it may be more reliable for you to rent a car. A car with 5 seats can be rent for 100 EURO for one day. Gas cost around 1.24 EURO for one Litter. An economic car can drive around 12 Kilometers per litter, so filling in 40 euro of Gas can give you a trip of 380 kilometers (approximately). You can easily visit 2 – 3 cities with this tank and refill anytime you need, since gas station is in every corner around Cyprus.

3. Food
It is a good opportunity to try the traditional Cyprus cuisine. Just park your car near traditional tavern or Fish Tavern. Cyprus is well known for its Mediterranean cuisine and the traditional meat souvlaki. Mezedes is a variety of traditional Cypriot food in portions. It cost around 12 to 20 euro but it is a must try. If you want to make economy on food, just eat something from Fast Food restaurants where you can get served though drive through or try souvlaki in pitta for no more than 5 euro.
4. Attractions
Traveling by car, gives you the opportunity to explore the island to the maximum. Visit our beautiful villages, drive near the sea or take a 4WD car and explore Akamas as Safari. Public parking cost by hour and private parking has standard costing around 3 euro for how much time you want.
8 and half hours trip, starting from Capital city and visiting Troodos Mountain, Akamas, Pafos, Limassol, Larnaca, Famagusta and back to Nicosia is a 500 Km trip. In this trip you will visit all the cities of Cyprus. Estimated cost for fuel is 50 euro (for economic car).
5. Total Cost
The day has finished and you are coming back to your place. Now we are going to show you how much you have spent till now for your road trip.

Food: 5 EURO or 15 EURO(mezedes)
Soft Drinks/Souvenirs: 10 EURO
Total Cost: 35 EURO or 45 EURO(mezedes) (approximately)
50 EURO is a great deal for a whole day, including food, drinks, transport and entertainment. This price is for each person if you are planing on renting car etc with another 4 friends. Please don’t rely entirely on those prices since we are just approximate them
